The deal aims to bolster FGE NexantECA's position as a provider of comprehensive supply and demand insights in the renewable fuels market. Square Commodities, founded in 2012 by Olivier Pellegrinelli, specializes in regulatory-driven demand analysis for biofuels.

FGE NexantECA CEO Andrew Toumazi said: "Renewable fuels demand is a critical growth story in the energy transition. This acquisition allows us to integrate SquareCo's expertise with our global oil demand modeling and market intelligence, creating a best-in-class product through Lumen, our AI-native platform."

The combination will offer clients enhanced analytics and user experience while maintaining the precision that has been central to both companies' offerings.
