The acquisition aims to bolster Fidia's market presence in cardiology and urology with a portfolio that includes brands such as Alamut, Antunes, Berny, Crotonil, Dicolev, Ferrogyn, Giachela, Nebiscon, and Tadap.

The deal is part of Fidia’s strategy to grow through external routes over the past five years. The company has invested more than $300 million in acquisitions during this period, with its revenue increasing by 45% from €371.2 million to €538.3 million and EBITDA rising by 45.8%.

Since 2016, Fidia has focused on targeted operations to expand, integrate, and diversify its portfolio. The company has made several acquisitions in recent years, including Biofarmitalia, Sooft Italia, Soluciones Bioregenerativas, products from Novartis Farma Spain, Unipharm Poland affiliate, Sanofi brands distributed internationally, and more recently Altacor and Meditrina Pharmaceuticals.
