The acquisition of Medfluencers by HealthCentral aims to integrate media, influence, live events and culture into a unified platform. With a network of over 700 credentialed digital opinion leaders across 40 specialties, Medfluencers offers a proprietary IRM platform called Medfluencers Pulse that identifies relevant healthcare professionals based on disease state, specialty, and treatment context.

"In today’s social-first economy, marketing is fundamentally about driving behavior change," said Justin Chase, CEO of HealthCentral. "Medfluencers’ leadership in influencer relationship management for healthcare professionals makes this acquisition a natural strategic fit as we advance towards integrating media, influence, live events and culture into a single platform."

The deal aims to protect trust, accuracy, and clinical integrity while setting higher standards for responsible health influence online. Adam Goodcoff, D.O., CEO of Medfluencers, will join HealthCentral as Chief Medical Officer across its brands.
