The transaction aims to consolidate Scales' and Adekma's market positions in the logistics sector, particularly in complex handling operations. Both companies have a strong presence in sectors such as nuclear energy, power transmission, and distribution.

Scales was founded in 1946 and specializes in industrial project logistics and specialized transportation services for critical industries. Adekma, established in 2004, focuses on lifting and handling interventions and has a robust local presence in the Grand Ouest region of France.

With this acquisition, Scales and Adekma will form a new group with an annual revenue of over $90 million, approximately 420 employees, and a fleet of nearly 1,000 machines. The combined entity is expected to strengthen its position in the French market for complex handling operations.

The Fonds France Nucléaire 2 managed by Siparex will support the new group's growth strategy by providing additional financial resources.
