Vision Innovation Partners (VIP), a private equity-backed eye care platform based in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, has acquired Eye Care of Delaware. The deal strengthens VIP's network of ophthalmology practices and includes one ophthalmologist and two optometrists.

VIP, which supports a network of premier ophthalmology practices and surgery centers across Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, and now Delaware, acquired Eye Care of Delaware to enhance its service offerings in the Mid-Atlantic region. The acquisition marks VIP's 26th add-on since its founding in 2017.

Eye Care of Delaware, founded in 1997, provides a range of eye surgery and treatment services using state-of-the-art technology. With one ophthalmologist and two optometrists on board, the acquisition aligns with VIP's mission to support practices that deliver superior outcomes for patients.
