Can I cancel any time? +

Yes. Cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you cancel before the end of your billing period, you retain access until it expires. No cancellation fees.

Is there really a free trial? +

Yes — 14 days, no credit card required. You get full access to your chosen plan tier. At the end of the trial you choose whether to subscribe; we'll never charge you without confirmation.

What happens to my data exports after I cancel? +

Any CSV or JSON files you've already downloaded are yours to keep. After cancellation, you lose access to new exports and the live database.

Do you offer discounts for academic researchers? +

Yes. Academic institutions and individual researchers with a .edu or equivalent email get 50% off Individual plan pricing. Contact us with your institutional email.

What counts as an 'advisor' in the database? +

We capture buy-side and sell-side investment banks and legal advisors for every deal where this information is publicly disclosed. For PE deals, this often includes the PE firm's legal counsel and the portfolio company's financial advisor.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan mid-cycle? +

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
